I first started this blog as a class assignment not thinking to much into it. I grew to love my blog after my first post. I enjoyed talking with y’all about my personal life, some things that a lot of you wouldn’t expect from viewing my Instagram or Twitter. The making of the website and learning how to maneuver through  everything was actually quite exciting. I enjoyed adding pages to my blog for readers to get to know me on a more personal level. I also loved that my professor required original pictures for our blogs. I personally didnt enjoy adding widgets to my page, which was a requirement by my professor. 

Now that the semester is coming to an end, I would like to add more content that I can freely speak on. I will be incorporating  into this blog. Be on the lookout for that in 2019. This blog gave me the idea of doing my talk showbecause as I type my blogs I freely speak aloud as if I am talking to an audience. I am using this blog as a stepping stone for my talk show to gain followers and supporters. I learned so many skills from making this blog that will be beneficial to me in the long run especially as a future journalist. 

When I first made this blog, I was scared to share on most of my social media. I knew I would be getting extremely personal and I was worried about feedback I would receive. I have my blog posted in my Instagram bio and I made a business twitter page to share my blogs on. I chose to make a business Twitter page because I do not want my personal social life and my business to be mixed. In September, I had the highest amount of views at 98 views. You have to start somewhere and I think that is great start for me! My most viewed blog post was “What’s holding you back” which got 39 views. I believe this post was most viewed because it is relatable for anyone. Everyone has a fear that they have acknowledged that is holding them back from greatness. Out of all of my stats for the semester, my first post was shockingly the second most viewed on my blog. I guess y’all love learning about me! My blog has attracted people to my Instagram DMs that I never thought would comment. I appreciate the love and support being shown.
